Memorandum that on this fifth Day of February one

Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Eight George Clock for

and in consideration of the sum of four Hundred and fifty

Pounds New York currency to Him in Hand paid Hath

Mortgaged all that certain tract or parcel of Land

Lying at (Caneyoharrie) in the county of Albany on the

West side of the Mohawk River in a patent Granted to

Philip Livingston and others the thirteenth Day of

November in the year of our Lord one Thousand

Seven hundred and thirty one being part of lott Number

Two, three, and four out of a larger lott known by the

name of Lott Number one of the sixth allotment being

about four Hundred and Seventy five acres of land

and upland together with all and Singular of.

Provided always and (these rances) on to are upon this

Condition that if the said George Clock his Heirs Executors

and Administrators shall pay to the said Johannes Luck

the sum of four hundred and fifty Pounds

Money aforesaid did with interest at five percent on or

and Seventy four then the above Bargain and Sale

Is to be void which said Mortgage was taken and

acknowledged before Volckert P. Douw Esq. one of

the Judges of the Inferior Court of Common Pleas for

the City and county of Albany the Tenth Day of
