REGESITERED for and at the request of Hendrick Luke of the Town of Bethlehem, in the County of Albany and State of New York on the twenty first day of June in the year one thousand eight hundred.  MEMORANDUM That on the twenty first day of June in the year last aforesaid Isaac Van Wie of the Town, County and State aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars lawful money of the State of New York HATH MORTGAGED all that farm piece or parcel of land situated lying and being in the Manor of Rensselaerwyck and bounded as follows to wit:  ON the west side of the Hudson River at Stony Hill beginning at a stake three links northwest of a sugar maple marked I H 1789 in Jacob Hillers line and runs thence south fifteen degrees and fifteen minutes west seven chains and thirty links the south seventy five degrees west three chains then south fifty four degrees west five chains the south seventy nine degrees west seventeen chains and forty links then north nine chains an sixty three links then west twenty chains then north ten chains and eleven links, then north sixty six degrees east ten chains and forty seven links then north eighty four degrees and thirty minutes east nine chains and fifty links then north nineteen degrees east eight chains and seventy links then north two degrees and thirty minutes west fourteen chains and fifty two links then south eighty three degrees and nine minutes east sixteen chains and three links the south seventy six degrees and thirty nine minutes east three chains then south eighty two degrees and thirty nine minutes east eight chains the south eighty five degrees and thirty nine minutes east one chain then north seventy on degrees and twenty one minutes east seven chains the south 85 degrees and 39 minutes east 3 chains and 77 links then south 45 degrees west 16 chains and 18 links then south 18 degrees east 15 chains then south 36 degrees west 1 chain and 74 links then south 52 degrees west 8 chains to the place of beginning containing one hundred and fifty two acres and three quarters of an acre.  PROVIDED always and these presents are upon this express condition that if the said Isaac his heirs Execrs. or Administrators pay to the said Hendrick his certain Attorney heirs executors administrators and assigns the just and full sum of two hundred and fifty dollars current money of the United States on or before the 21st day of June one thousand eight hundred and two with interest at seven per cent per annum, the said Interest to be paid yearly and every year according to the condition of a certain bond or writing obligatory bearing even date herewith executed by the said party of the first part to the said party of the second part as a Collateral Security then these presents and the said bond or writing obligatory shall cease and be null and void.  Which said Mortgage was acknowledged on the confession of Isaac Van Wie the Mortgagor before John Lansing Junr. Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Judicature of the State of New York the 21st day of June 1800.
