REGISTERED FOR and at the request of Coenradt Luke Junr. of Bethlehem in the county of Albany on the fourth day of January eighteen hundred and two.  MEMORANDUM that on the thirtieth day of June one thousand eight hundred and one.   John Schoonmaker and Madaline his wife and Abraham Schoonmaker and Sally his wife of Watervliet in the county of Albany for and in consideration that certain farm place or parcel of land situated lying and being in the town of Bethlehem in the County of Albany in the Manor of Rensselaerwyck being the northwestern half part or (roiety) of all that certain farm, piece or parcel of land heretofore granted by Stephen van Rensselaer Esqr, late proprietor of Manor of Rensselaerwyck deceased which said farm in the whole contains one hundred and twenty nine acres of land which premises hereby conveyed for intended so to be are as the same is in the possession of the said Coenradt Luke Junr. and as the same has been conveyed by Arent Van Dussen and Wendle W. Helderbrandt to him the said Coenradt together with the privileges in the aforesaid conveyance mentioned an also all that certain piece or parcel of land situated lying and being in Jericho in the town of Bethlehem in the manor aforesaid and is butted and bounded as follows to wit beginning at the northeast corner of the barn, standing on the farm formerly belonging to Wendle Hildebrandt decd. and running thence southwesterly one hundred and forty yards to a pin black oak tree blazed and marked by John Hildebrandt and Jacob W. Helderbrandt for a division from thence southwesterly  down the hill towards the Plumane or Plupopean Kill by a white pine tree blazed and marked for a division between the said John and Jacob W. Helderbrandt that to the said Kill to another white oak tree marked as aforesaid then crossing said Creek to a (hite Allum) again marked as aforesaid then along a certain fence to another black oak tree marked as aforesaid the rising the hill to a small chestnut tree marked as aforesaid then from the top of the hill continuing said course to certain white oak sapling standing at the now division (blank), then along said fence (blank) (blank) as it comes to the line of Jacob Luke to a certain white pine tree marked as aforesaid containing by estimation twenty one acres more or less.  PROVIDED always and these presents are upon the express condition that if the (blank) John and Abraham their executors administrators or assigns.  (blank) the said Coenradt his executors, administrators or assigns the sum of one thousand dollars to be paid in manner following to wit.  Two hundred and fifty dollars on or before the first day of May 1803, Two hundred and fifty dollars on or before the first day of May 1804, Two hundred and fifty dollars on or before the first day of May 1805, Two hundred and fifty dollars on or before the first day of May 1806, with interest annually on the whole from the first day of May next according to the condition of a certain bond or writing obligatory bearing even date herewith executed by the said party of the first part to the said party of the second part as a Collateral Security then these presents and the said bond on writing obligatory shall cease and be null and void.  Which said mortgage was acknowledged by the confession of John Schoonmaker and Madalane his wife and Abraham Schoonmaker and Sarah his wife the mortgagors before Thomas Hun Esqr. one of the Judges of the Court of Common Pleas for the City and County of Albany on the second day of December 1801,
